Casio G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK Digital Watch - Black | DWE-5657RE-1DR celebrates four decades of G-SHOCK history with milestone model names hot-stamped across the band. This limited-edition watch includes an interchangeable DW-5700-style bezel, bio-based resin construction, anniversary engravings, Super Illuminator lighting, a five-year battery, and 200-meter water resistance.

Casio G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK Digital Watch - Black | DWE-5657RE-1DR commemorates the evolution of G-SHOCK with a special all-black design inspired by historic models. The strap displays milestone model names and release years using a hot-stamping process that creates a textured, engraved appearance reminiscent of enduring stone monuments.

Based on the classic DW-5600 shape, the watch also includes an interchangeable round DW-5700-style bezel. This allows the wearer to switch between two iconic G-SHOCK silhouettes using one watch module. The design pays tribute to the DW-5600C and DW-5700C models introduced in 1987.

Special anniversary details include four stars engraved on the band loop, a star engraving on the side button, and the 40th Anniversary logo designed by Eric Haze on the case back. Activating the LED backlight reveals the anniversary logo in silhouette on the display.

The bezel and strap are manufactured from bio-based resin made partly with renewable organic resources. Shock Resistant construction, Mineral Glass, Super Illuminator lighting, and 200-meter water resistance provide dependable everyday durability. The watch is supplied in special eco-conscious packaging made with recycled materials, bagasse pulp, recycled paper, vegetable-based ink, and a G-SHOCK “G”-shaped design.
