Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 3rd Gen Portable Bluetooth Speaker combines powerful 360-degree sound with premium Scandinavian design in a compact, travel-friendly form. It features a 3.25-inch woofer, dedicated tweeter, dual 30W Class D amplifiers, upgraded bass performance, IP67 dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX Adaptive, a three-microphone speakerphone system, and up to 24 hours of battery life at typical listening volume.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 3rd Gen Portable Bluetooth Speaker delivers premium Bang & Olufsen sound in an exceptionally compact and portable design. Created by designer Cecilie Manz, its circular body combines pearl-blasted anodized aluminum, waterproof leather, and polymer for a refined appearance built for listening at home, in the office, or outdoors.

The acoustic system combines a large 3.25-inch woofer with a 0.6-inch tweeter, each powered by its own 30W Class D amplifier. This configuration delivers rich bass and detailed sound despite the speaker's compact dimensions. Bang & Olufsen rates the A1 3rd Gen for a frequency range of 54 Hz to 20 kHz, maximum sound pressure of 92 dB SPL, and bass capability of 64 dB SPL at one meter.

Its 360-degree sound dispersion helps distribute music evenly around the speaker, making it ideal for small gatherings and rooms ranging from approximately 5 to 30 m². The Bang & Olufsen app also provides five sound presets and a fully customizable equalizer for personalized listening.

With IP67 protection, the Beosound A1 3rd Gen is fully dust resistant and can withstand freshwater immersion at depths of up to one meter for as long as 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for outdoor trips, poolside listening, travel, and other everyday adventures.

The built-in 3,300mAh rechargeable battery delivers up to 24 hours of playback at typical listening volume. Charging takes approximately three hours using a 5V / 3A power source, with USB Type-C handling charging as well as compatible speakerphone and audio-streaming functions.

Bluetooth 5.1 provides reliable wireless connectivity, while AAC and aptX Adaptive codec support offers flexible high-quality audio streaming with compatible devices. Multipoint connectivity allows the speaker to remain connected to as many as two devices simultaneously.

The A1 3rd Gen also supports wireless stereo pairing. Two 3rd Generation speakers can work together as a stereo pair, and Bang & Olufsen also supports pairing one 3rd Gen model with one Beosound A1 2nd Gen.

For calls and meetings, an integrated three-microphone array with FarField technology provides speakerphone functionality and clear voice pickup, making the A1 practical for both entertainment and work environments.
